What I offer

Micropractice: A unique, small medical practice that is usually a solo doctor with minimal to no staff.

  • No waiting room

  • No receptionist, no check-in

  • No medical assistant

  • You get the Dr. Scanlon for the entirety of your appointment.

MauveMD is a micropractice focused exclusively on the care of the peri-menopausal and menopausal woman.

No longer concerned with their reproductive status, I believe that women in their 40’s and 50’s are truly hitting their prime. I reject the societal status quo that menopausal women are no longer worthy. I believe that menopause is a feminist issue. Misogyny in medicine has allowed it to be ignored for too long. Women have been told to “suck it up” and that menopause is “just hot flashes.” Well, we know better and we are here to reclaim it all. Utilizing all the resources, we will come together to truly harness all the power that comes during this transition.
